Cutie watch!

Seriously, too cute. The teensy charm is a little Stitch zap gun.

Hi TS

My name is Charles and I used to frequent the AOTAT page way too much

I have a strange and random impulsive question for you

Do you know if they ever made an ROV dolls house?

My mother was thrift store hopping a long while back and got me this 2 1/2 or 3 FT doll house made of wood and some kind of tagboard or composite.

It is open plan with no side walls and is printed with pretty Louis-esq ornate room designs done in not quite bright enough to be day-glo (but still quite 70's) colors with black and white checkerboard floors. There is a grand parlour and piano room and the whole thing is supported by columns and small walls with printed room or scenes on them, the lower level has an outer wall with a garden and a pink gazebo on it.

The roof has a back drop with a printed fountain and formal hedge-centric gardens .

The whole thing is quite pink and flowery

I believe there was a label with made in Korea printed on it.

It is clearly a product of the 70's and the overall asthetic matches the ROV merchandise of that time but I've never seen it mentioned anywhere.

I figured iI would ask you since you seem to be the foremost U.S. expert on these things and appreciate any assistance you can bring

Cool! I'd never heard of such a thing, but that doesn't mean much, as there was so much RoV product all over the world, and I'm so NOT the expert. I have a number of cool RoV items from Korea--the one thing that puzzles is, it's all relatively recent. I'm not quite sure when RoV was released in that country.

The other possibility, as you've probably realized, is that there's no restriction on any manufacturer just making kewl French Revolution era style goods hoping to cash in on the RoV craze, so it might be unlicensed.

I'll see if I can dig up my Licca-chan encyclopedia, to see if they might have pictures of such an item. If you have pictures, I'd love to see.
