Men of the Texas Library Association Calendar

Okay, so the calendar men of TLA aren't quite so hot, but it's for a good cause: TLA DISASTER RELIEF FUND. "The calendar is also a celebration of the humor and complexity of that precious natural resource – men in library land!"

When I worked at the UCLA library, my bored coworkers and I assembled a creation we called the "hunk wall." It was basically a long hallway plastered with a collage of clippings from various book covers, consisting of what we considered the most pulchritudinous of the male species. There were a few photos of model types, but a surprising number of the pictures resembled the UT calendar guys. People came from all over to see, and we even held a vote for the top hunk. (I believe Che Guevara came in second.)
