We flunked Girl School

Although tiki is a well-known world authority on cute-i-tude, we somehow skipped over the essential childhood instruction on the most basic building blocks of girliness. We somehow missed out on the essentials, like "Potpourri: WTF?" and "Grooming 101: How to Not Glue Your Legs Together Whilst Waxing." And especially, we somehow omitted "Planning Your Dream Wedding Starting at Age 3."
Seriously, where does everybody else learn to demand an engagement rock of sufficient size to throw a fiance into marginal bankruptcy? To dream of drawing up seating charts which will pit the most noisome inlaws across the gravy boats? To learn the distinction between calla lilies and freesias? To select the most ridiculously unflattering shade of pastel in which to clad unlucky bridesmades?
We don't know. But damn, this dress is pretty spiff!

P.S. Yes, tikistitch is most happily married. (To Mr. Tikistitch, conveniently enough.) We eloped. And then blew the wedding fund on a honeymoon in Spain that was 13 shades of awesome. Such is the life of a Girlie School Droupout.
