Because it's never too early....

If I were designing a tikistitch Halloween costume, it would consist of...

  • a skeery tiki mask!
  • kawaii Stitchie ears
  • hula costume w/pâ`û hula (of course)
  • Stitch ukulele

    Artists conceptions....

Furthermore, we are now tagging....OUR ENTIRE FRIENDS LIST!!! Yes, that means you, quit trying to hide behind your copy of Vanity Fair. Tell us your Halloween costume!!! The big day is mere days away, mere hours away!!! The time is nigh!

EDIT: Stolen from AAYOR, who has this to say:

"If I were designing a [my blog title/pseud here] Halloween costume, it would consist of..."

What is this meme? Are we making up an imaginary costume based on our LJ username? Are we just describing a fantasy Hallowe'en costume?

    HELP!!!

It could be based on your LJ name. I took it to be based more on my blog "persona." Or, it could be based on what you write about in your blog. Or, it could just be your real Halloween costume. Or you could just pretend to be *really* interested in those pictures of Suri Cruise. ^_^

Given my history, the funny thing is I'm not so much planning a costume; I probably won't dress up at all. What I am already trying to lay out are the pumpkins, especially considering last year involved an unusually large stunt.

If I went by my livejournal... I could either dress as Sailor X (name kept for nostaglia and such, fake sailor senshi o mine) or based on the journal's title.. I could dress as someone from Doctor Who.

Well.. I have the Jelly Babies in the other room, so all I need is the really long scarf! (4th Doctor - Tom Baker)

Several Halloweens ago, I actually went out and bought the fur fabric I need for a decent werewolf costume. As my family is big on Halloween, we have all the make-up and prostetics I'd need already packed in the closet. If I wanted to keep along with my LJ name, I'd probably have to find a black suit and tie to go over it. Then again, I could always forego the suit by just painting my body and gluing the fur on.

But I'm probably just going to buy a beer-wench costume and wig from Target.

Prank, no, it's mostly a matter of deciding source material, and whether or not I want to do something on the level of last year's round.

I have a leopard-print fez from Archie McPhee that I've wanted to use for years. I have a pair of leopard-print velour pants, and I thought I could ask K if she might have a velvet smoking jacket, silk jabot and long, thin cigarette holder I could borrow. And for shoes I would probably wear embroidered slippers. And I would be ...

Um, I don't know what you call that, actually. A lounge lizard? Gomez Addams in drag?

Yeah, I inevitably end up grabbing something at the last minute. A couple years ago, we sewed a plush toy onto a black hood, and I went as Zero doggie from NBX. We went to a dark nightclub, so it actually worked out surprisingly well.

Older is better ^__^. I liked Christopher Eccleston though, I can't stand David Tennant. Saw someone at the last Renaissance fair that looked remarkably like Tennant, it was strange XD.

Jon Pertwee was one of the best Doctors too IMO

I'd probably go as Gogo Yubari from Kill Bill. Because Mr Blythou loves Japanese schoolgirl uniforms (he's somewhat of a perv ;-) ) and I like the idea of being a killing machine dressed as a little girl.
Or maybe, I'd go as Blossom from the Powerpuff Girls. Still, not very mature...

Japanese schoolgirls (especially homicidal ones) are so many kinds of awesome! Have you heard of Sukeban Deka? A live action show where a J schoolgirl assaulted people with a killer yo-yo. Blossom's weapon in the PPG anime is a yo-yo!

I recently saw a Stitch plush that I thought was in a sailor suit, but I think he's actually supposed to be Renaissance Faire Stitch.

Well, when we get married we can try to time it like that, but this is the anniversary of our first becoming a couple. Our first "date" was about a month earlier, even though it wasn't a date, because we really just met for the first time then, but had no intentions of becoming a couple. :)

In fact, here's the story of how we met:
