More squealies!
Jan. 9th, 2005 07:57 amI woke up this morning and, as they say on eBay, L@@K!

Oh, and me email is totally down, which sux. Ah, well, I guess I'll have to communicate strictly via LJ. I can rough it, just like my pioneer ancestors!
It's a big deal here, 'cause as insiders know, Seattle doesn't even own a snow plow. When they have snowstorms, they usually just tell everybody to stay home.

Only thing that bites is it isn't a work day, which means no "snow day." I work at the U, which never has snow days anyway (they'll hold classes in a class III hurricane), but it's a great excuse.

At some point today, I gotta snowshoe up the hill to get my Sunday Times. And it's Earl's belated bday party later. But like I said, pioneer spirit! Roughing it!
For now, I gotta go make some cocoa with extra marshmallows...
