Lookee what Oscar snagged for us at the Dizzney store! mr_tikistitch of course asked nicely about getting any displays, and as usual, the store personnel gave some twaddle about sending it all back to Walt Disney's head in a bottle so he could personally chew them up. Or something. Anyways, Oscar just deftly emptied the trading cards from this little display, and, with a bemused smile, departed.

I really don't get why posters/displays just go back to the distributors to get pulped up, surely if fans ask for things, it makes sense to give it to them if they're not needed?

Actually, when they send back the displays to Disney, they give it to Stitch and his cousins to destroy.

Cool! My sis used to work at the Warner Brothers Studio Store up there and when they were closing down, she wanted the Marvin the Martian figure thingy they had in the store, but they wouldn't let her take it. They said they had to take them and destroy them all. :(
