Oh good, my maid's found a bazooka!

I was cleaning out my room in anticipation of the oncoming in-law influx, and pulled out this doll, a literal "blast from the past."



Faye was some kinda sorta doll show special dealie a year or so back, ultra-limited, show-only, hard to find, a gazillion yen if you could find it on Yahoo....



What do Gus's folks care about my anime room, you might ask? Well, very little. It's just that, in order to clear off our dining room table, I had to create room to insert the tchotchkes that were piled up downstairs into my realm upstairs.

Anyway, here's a better look at her armaments.



I think you're supposed to take out the bazooka and dink around with it--file it and glue it and stuff--since you're also supposed to be a Volks model geek. You didn't think that money paid for a finished doll, did you?

Volks has made other versions of Faye, but I liked this one 'cause it was the first, and 'cause of the radioactive symbol on the box.

Boy, she's got dinky little feet! I admire her, firing that bazooka in heels.

*sigh* Yet another doll I've wanted since forever. But you already know about me and my obsession about dolls with weaponry. Isn't she supposed to have a leather harness or holster? Or is that only for the second version?

Your memory is infinitely better than mine! My doll has no trace of such a harness. Perhaps Volks expects you happy modelers to whittle one out of deerhide or something?
