So, this was our Tiki day yesterday. Mr. Tikistitch's phone has sadly, passed away due to an unfortunate encounter with a coffee beverage. R.I.P., Mr. Tiki's phone!

So, we took Mr. Tiki's newly clean car down to the Phone Place to get a new one. Whilst our beloved spouse was trying to decide between The Green One and The Blue One, we attempted to purchase a Lilo & Stitch game for our own phone, only to find, it doesn't work with our model!! O, teh pain.

Once Mr. Tiki had made his important and life-altering decision, we learned that it would take an hour for our new baby phone to be processed and ready for pick.

"Quickly!" urged Mr. Tiki. "We must away to the Disney store at Belle Square to search for more Stitchies."

"But, Mr. Tiki," we protested, "we're not sure there actually is a Disney store at Belle square!"

"VROOOOOM!" went Mr. Tiki. (Or rather, went Mr. Tiki's car, which Mr. Tiki was operating at the time.)

We arrived at Belle Square approximately 7 seconds later to determine that there is no Disney Store at Belle Square."

"Why didn't you tell me there's no Disney Store at Belle Square?" protested Mr. Tiki.

VROOOOOM!

Back at the cell phone store, sad and Stitchie-less, we waited for Mr. Tiki and his new mobile device to be reunited.

"I want sushi!" declared Mr. Tiki, who muchly misses Japan, where there is much sushi to be had.

"There is a sushi place near Toys R Us," we advised.

VROOOOOM!

"Should we go into the Toys R Us?" ventured our spouse.

We assented. We walked directly to the back of the store, past the slightly disturbing twisty Barbies, and into the section with the little kid plushies that nobody ever goes to.

Whereupon, we saw THIS:

I like how he falls off the radiator, still laughing as he plummets over the edge...

Thanks for calling back yesterday, by the way! I'm so glad you guys are okay. :) Did Mr. Tikistitch ever find what he was looking for?

I dunno if you can hear it from the tape, but at the very end of the laugh, it always sounds to me like he's saying "Ow!"

Turns out the shooting was at 22nd and Republican, just over the hill from us. I take the bus by there every day. Creepy!

Yeah, he DOES sound like he goes "Ow!" just after he goes over the edge!

Ooh, that is mega-creepy. Wonder if one of those spontaneous roadside memorials will spring up there.

That is precisely what it sounded like to me, the first time I watched it. Heh.

And, um, hi, btw; my name's Angie, and I was a big fan of your collecting pages back in the day. I think I even wrote you once, plaintively asking where you'd gotten your Hime-chan no Ribon doll, because I couldn't find a thing from the show. Stumbled across your site again the other day (as well as this LJ) while searching for Stitch pictures to use as icons (I had no idea they'd upped the paid user threshold!), boggled briefly, and promptly friended the journal because I loves the Stitch.

For a moment I thought that Stitch was programmed to say "ow" upon falling down. That would have been so cool.

Hi Angie! Yeah, I've kinda gotten side-tracked into Stitchie goodness lately. Glad to hear you're coming along for the ride!!

Did I ever answer you about Hime chan no Ribon? They used to come up once in a while on Yahoo Japan auctions.

It -does- sound like OW and yeah I was curious about the shooting too. People go berzerk all over I guess...now everybody's waiting to find out why the wife of that pastor shot him.

I've seen the Mickey Head version. It scares the willies out of me.

Yeah, you did point me YJ way, though I think that I'd asked right around the time I got to critical mass with anime stuff and started selling it off. Which was good, because a year or so after that, my company was bought and bought again and my job went away and now I'm back to being a penniless student.

So I don't get to buy any of the Stitchie goodness, but I'm having a hell of a fun time looking at everything you come across.

Also, this Rock n' Giggle thing reminds me enormously of Fizzgig from The Dark Crystal, which was only heightned by the bouncing around during his mad cackling. ^_^
