Stitching Expedition
Mar. 4th, 2006 10:39 amMr. Tikistitch took us up north to Ye Olde Stitche Store last night.

Here's what we found....
We'll start with the plush Stitchies.

This weird little guy is called a Stitch "mega bean." He reminds us of that 45-lb cat we saw on Olbermann's show last night.

Stitch peaking out of an easter egg. They had some similar items available at Tokyo Disneyland last year.

Cute if slightly disturbing, Stitch and his "Easter puppets." A chick, yes, but a frog? Reminds us of these Japanese plushies.

And our fave. If you press Stitch's paw, the weird little tiki bird on his shoulder will chirp annoyingly.

We also found some random nonsense, like this little hula Lilo cap (sorry, kiddie sized)...

...and these flip-flops (kiddie sized).

This is a teeny plastic egg full of stickers, and, at $3.50, we thought it was a bit 'spensive!

There were several Easter-themed tableware items there, including some plastic dishes and a glass set that we passed up (we'll look for 'em on sale later), and this cute ceramic mug.

This was our fave find from last night: a mini glitter globe of Stitch marching off on an Easter egg hunt.

We like how the base has little "hidden" Easter eggs as well.
