Your father's lightsaber

Well, it says to put batteries in, so that's what we'll do. (That's how jedi do it, ya know, with AA Energizers.)

What really warms the cockles of our nerdly heart, however, and what we can't really show on a still photo, is that Stitch's saber doesn't just switch on all at once: it slowly illuminates up the rod, just like a "real" lightsaber.



We've caught an image of the light going halfway up.

I got 'em in a batch of stuff from a seller on Yahoo Japan. If that's of interest, I could send you the links. Another alternative, I know Robin on eBay has been willing to pick up odd stuff from Japan sometimes. Either alternative can be a bit spendy, unfortunately.
