Absolute Zero!

Happy anniversary to me.
Happy anniversary to me.
Happy anniversary to me-ee.
Happy anniversary to me!
Yay! Nine years!
Went out to the Halloween costume contest at The Cuff last night. I didn't stay long enough to see if Earl won, but he sure deserved to. His Oogie Boogie costume was absolutely incredible. Andy, Seana and Wade went as Lock, Shock and Barrell, and I stayed with the NBC theme as Zero. Earl sewed some filmy material onto a Zero headband, and I just wore all black with a black hood.

Unfortunately, I can't see much of anything through the hood, and I definitely couldn't drink through it, so I spent part of the night dancing with the drag queens (a really nice fairy godmother gave me some fairy dust 'cause she loves Zero doggie too!) and part with the hood pulled up, sipping margaritas and peering at the other costumes.

My fave was a couple guys wearing drag with what looked like light-up skyskrapers on their heads. I spotted them on the dance floor (I could really only see the light-up stuff), and then later noticed the "buildings" were actually *boats*. That's right, they were "ferries," hahahaha....
Scott took tons of pix, so hopefully I'll post them a bit later. I've gotta take off in a bit to pick up hubby at the airport.
