SCIENTISTS have created eerie zombie dogs, reanimating the canines after several hours of clinical death in attempts to develop suspended animation for humans.

US scientists have succeeded in reviving the dogs after three hours of clinical death, paving the way for trials on humans within years....

I agree--this is creepy. And I remember hearing about this technique (filling the veins with cold saline solution) years and years ago. I think it's been done in open-heart surgery in some extreme cases...?

But yeah, this is kinda... I dunno, I've got no problem with stem-cell research, but this is just kind of past a certain point for me.

(The game Resident Evil, as well as the movie, have these infamous creatures called "Lickers". They're zombie dogs with disturbingly long tongues. And yes, they want to keeeeellll yoooou!)
