That Palin's daughter is pregnant should not be of any concern to either campaign; that Palin's policies of an active maintenance of reproductive ignorance are manifest failures is.

If I get pregnant, according to Gov. Palin's Conservative Happy Place, the US government gets to swoop in and tell me what to do.

But if her kid gets pregnant, suddenly it's a private matter?

How about, uh, no.

And why do they keep blabbing about Bristol's "decision." Pregnant pro-life women don't have a "decision." You keep going with the pregnancy, or you are guilty of murder, or maybe something else that's not murder, they're not ever clear what.

Well you know why they put the info out there?

Because it's going around that the fifth child is really the daughter's also.

Photos of Palin supposedly in her seventh month where she doesn't show. The people who worked with her stating they had no idea she was pregnant when she finally announced it in the seventh month. Flying all the way back to Alaska from Texas after her water broke in Texas?

The fact that during that time her daughter disappeared from school for several months (supposedly for mono but mono lasts about a month) and appeared to look a little swollen in photos from that time.

And that on official sites, Palin's photos from around that time were pulled when this came out the day she was announced as the VP selection.

Now all of this is speculation, but with the new facts of the daughter of a woman who is against sex education and all, the rally cry of her supporters that she is a "good woman" is starting to loose it's validity to me.

I'm becoming more and more in awe how much in denial her supporters are. One who is a major lover of animals especially dogs is so happy about Palin. I don't know how she lives with the fact that Palin supports wolf hunting from the air.

Yeah, there are too many private matters regarding this woman who's major qualifications are that she was a member of the PTA and has foreign relations experience because her state is near Russia.

I guess that makes me an ambassador because Mexico is just down the freeway.

I was reading the rumors yesterday. What concerned me was that there seemed to be no independent source as to the daughter being absent from school and/or (blurry pictures aside) definitely pregnant.

I will say, the whole fairy story about pregnant Palin leaking amniotic fluid all the way from Texas to Alaska leads me to conclude she's either a big fat liar, or a total fruitcake with an incompetent OB/Gyn. A 44 yo in labor with a disabled kid whirling past not one but *several* NICUs? Just, bizarre.

The absent daughter was confirmed by fellow students. Just nothing confirming why.

I think the deal is that whether it's true or not, there is a lot we don't know about this woman and what we do know doesn't appear to me at least that she is qualified for the position of VP. But then there was Agnew and Dan Quayle and who am I to know what the Republican requirements for their VPs are.

You are right, it's not a private matter. She's a public figure who is suppose to represent us if she gets into that office.

Yeah, well it's a calculated calling it a "private matter". That way, if a Democrat points out the hypocrisy, s/he can be called a bully. Tsk, tsk taking it out on poor defenseless girl...who couldn't keep her legs together.

Oh, and speaking of the girl, get a load of the pictures of what they did to poor daughter here How do we cover her up? I've got it! We'll make her carry the Down syndrome baby! And a blanket! (Put on this black dress, it's slimming. And we'll have it taken in for the funeral.) Yeah, we'll hide your pregnancy by making you carry another baby...hey, it's practice for what's to come. And wear a black dress to reduce the baby bump, and for good measure, use the baby blanket too. I'm with Chris Kelly, I feel bad for the girl.

I'm not sure whether I believe the rumour that Palin's youngest it really her daughter's baby, but it's curious the circumstances. Maybe this Palin thinks it's a blessing the baby has Down's Syndrome because everybody associates Down's with older mothers. But here's an interesting tidbit, chances of Down's goes up with older mothers, it's true, but the chance of Down's also go up if the mother is too young. Just FYI.

My parents escaped to Cali before I was born, but the remainder of my family lives in various small towns scattered across the northwest, and, at least until recently, it's not that uncommon to get preggers right out of high school. Cause, there's just FUCKING NOTHING ELSE TO DO! Really, winters last like 16 months. If it's have a baby or go completely batshit, maybe the baby is not such a bad choice.
