Sorry, we just keep looking

OK, so, basically, these pretties were available at Arribas Bros., the guys who run the glass shop on Main Street at any of the Dizzney parks.

We'd been drooling over these pieces forever (we believe they were even available over the web for a time), but when we ran into the shop and showed naughty Mr. Tikistitch, he indicated that he really, really prefered to buy us the beer stein with the Stitch face etched in it.

They're studded with little crystals from a company called Swarovski (think we spelled that right) who make, well, crystal stuff and nonsense that we'd probably never even know about if it weren't for Stitch (we must have missed that day in Girl School).

According to the web page, this Stitch has 890 Swarovski crystals. No, we didn't count. But, they're pretty tiny figures (only an inch or two tall), but they're heavy as heck, so we believe it. Swarovski crystal is supposed to have lead in it, to make it reflecty-er, or something, so don't be sucking on them!

It surprises me a bit you didn't end up with doubles... you know, Mr.Tiki buying these and you sneaking back in the store to get them yourself. lol

I could actually visualize Lilo gluing individual gems to Stitch's fur in an effort to bling him [or using a Bedazzler, for violence's sake]. These are cute :)

Haha! I think you and I were separated at birth Andre - all I keep thinking is, "Somebody had to glue crystals to Stitch's butt!!"

Bling bling!! That's funny, the store I work at sells Swarovski Jewelry ( work in an American Greetings). I don't know if there's lead, but there certainly is rhodium, if I remember right.

Oh, that's interesting! I *really* don't know anything about crystal, except for remembering being admonished not to break the "lead crystal" stuff when I was a kid.
