Don't you hate that when it happens? Everything seems to be falling into place with the economic stimulus bill, and then OMG giant fluffy blue squidz!!

Giant squid are generally more straightforward to defeat, though.

I love how the fur is falling over its eyes so that it looks faintly disgruntled, or perhaps a bit peeved, and/or miffed. Honestly, it looks much less intimidating than the national deficit.

That was the cute and cuddly squid (octopus), I think we need to get Obama to battle the Cloverfield monster soon - he is much more menacing.

Technically, he resembles octy more than squid in that 8 legs and not 10, however, as he is also fluffy and blue and makes a squeaky-squeak when you press his tummy, I don't think Darwin will be too ticked off if I call him Squidz.

Also, there have been some dramatic and BIPARTISAN developments in the Obama vs. Squidz battle. Stay tuned!
