They're from Mali, and they're nomads where the women are the leaders in the tribe, and the guys play guitars and everybody chants, and it's just weird and hypnotic and funky at the same time.

I'm not quite sure what it was, but it started with this track, and after a couple of weeks of listening to it in my rotation, I was suddenly, OMG, I must track down every single note ever played by this band.
