OK, this one is....just weird.

So, we found these Stitch "Treasure Trip" toys in a convenience store in Sendai. We were all, "Minis yay!"

Then we packed them up and shipped them to ourselves, and kinda forgot about 'em.

We finally opened 'em yesterday, thinking to see which little treasures we got. Well, it's not that simple.

Basically, you get a ball that looks like a ball of dirt. Or a ball of....something else that's not dirt. Like, ew.

What you're supposed to do is take the little Junior Archaeologist tools in the box, and chip away at the ball until you've uncovered.....treasure!!!

Yeah, we thought so too. So, we just kept the ball enclosed in the plastic, put it back in the box, and put them away again. We're hoping to forget all about them.

Bad Stitch, making a mess all over your minis..... that's just a wierd trading toy.

I can't remember seeing anything like it! I mean, there are like bath toys where you put a ball of soap in the water and it dissolves and you get a Stitch toy inside. But, this is just odd!

"Dinosaur Dig" toys are pretty popular, we've given them for X-mas presents. Though digging for charms in a round ball of dirt isn't quite the same thing.
